Shining Light
A collaboration bringing new and exciting energy to timeless songs of faith.
The music of this album is filled with the light which emanates from the grace of God. Most of the musicians on this album who collaborate to bring new and exciting energy to timeless songs of faith have contributed their time and artistic talents to the CHURCHJAZZ Ministry for close to three decades.
For all the tunes, the rhythm section of Bobby Schiff (piano), Jerry Coleman (drums), and Stewart Miller (bass) provides an extraordinary foundation for the singing and instrumental ensemble work. Bobby Lewis (trumpet), Ken Jandes (alto sax), and Andy Tecson (tenor sax) round out the nucleus of the band. Roger Heiss of Tone Zone Recording Studios provided amazing technical and musical insight. Bobby Schiff, Bobby Lewis and Jerry Coleman joined Andy Tecson and Roger Heiss for the mixing sessions.
